ROL RECAP - March at ROL Academy '25

While March moved at a slower pace, it was packed with powerful moments centered around education, preparation, and community connection. The spotlight of the month was on our workshops—each one designed to uplift and empower different parts of our ROL family.

On March 22nd, we proudly hosted the ROL Women’s Workshop, led by our TacFit instructor Raj and Kids Coach Kassidy. Raj kicked off the event with a high-energy, bodyweight TacFit-inspired workout, giving the women of our community a taste of her training style and the benefits of functional fitness. Following that, Coach Kassidy led a practical and empowering self-defense session rooted in Jiu Jitsu, helping women build confidence through movement and technique.

We also welcomed ROL parents to a special "How to Coach at Competition" workshop—an initiative aimed at equipping them with tools to better support and guide their young competitors during tournaments. This was a meaningful step toward strengthening the parent-coach-student dynamic that makes our kids team so strong.

To wrap up the month, Coach Scott, with support from Coach Tyler and Coach Kassidy, hosted a Kids Competition Workshop, preparing our young athletes for the upcoming Grappling Industries competition on April 12th. Their dedication, energy, and attention to detail set the tone for a successful competition season ahead.

Overall, March was a month of connection, preparation, and growth—proof that even slower seasons can bring some of the most meaningful progress.
