December was a calm and reflective month at RŌL Academy, serving as the perfect close to an incredible year of training, growth, and community milestones. While the holiday season brought a slower pace to the academy, the dedication of our students remained strong, with everyone continuing to show up, stay consistent, and keep jiu-jitsu a priority during a busy time of year.

The main highlight of the month took place on December 13th as we celebrated Global Grappling Day in true RŌL fashion. To mark the occasion, we hosted a special workshop led by our very own Coach Tim, one of RŌL’s respected brown belt instructors. The seminar was a great opportunity for students to come together on the mats, sharpen their skills, and celebrate the art that connects us all.

December may have been a quieter month, but it was a meaningful reminder of the foundation we’ve built throughout the year—and the momentum we’re carrying into the next.
